MALOUDA REVEALS REASON FOR CHELSEA EXIT

Former Chelsea forward Florent Malouda has revealed the reason why he left the club in the summer of 2013. Malouda was one of the star player’s at the club making 229 appearances for the club during the peak period of the club’s dominance.

The Frenchman scored 45 goals and contributed 44 assists during his time at the club but ended his stint on a sour note as he was sent to train with the youth team. Six years later the 38-year-old revealed in an interview with Stadium Astro that he was jettisoned out of the club for his remarks in the aftermath of the Champions League victory against Bayern Munich.

Sarri right manager for Chelsea

Former French international and Chelsea player Florent Malouda believes that Maurizio Sarri is the right manager for the London club. He said that fans should give the former Napoli manager some more time to adapt to the club and bring his own philosophy to the team.

He said that Sarri is an exciting and experienced manager and that he is sure that he will help bring the club forward. He said that it is never easy to come to the Premier League and adapt to the playing style and you will have to give him time to build his team.

Florent Malouda said that Maurizio Sarri is coaching a team that was assembled by Antonio Conte and that he will need some time to bring in his own players. He believes that he will get more fund to build the team if he makes it to the Champions League next season and that it is the objective of the team at the moment to finish in the top four.

The former Chelsea player said that it will not be easy for Chelsea to qualify for the Champions League as there are teams such as Manchester United and Arsenal that are also behind them and aiming for the last qualifying place. He believes that the players will have to give their best and make sure that they win games against the weaker opponents.

He said that the smaller clubs tend to defend a lot and will not give you space on the ball. He said that this is where the Chelsea players will have to be at their best and make sure that they score goals as soon as they get the opportunities. He believes that they need a world-class striker and that he is sure that Sarri will be working on that.

WENGER HOPING FOR REAL WORLD CUP IN QATAR

Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is hoping for a more competitive World Cup in Qatar in 2022 than the one that took place in Russia this year.

The French manager expressed belief that the World Cup would be more interesting if teams from other continents like North America, Asia and Africa pose a real challenge to their European counterparts for the title.

How Florent Malouda Had A Laugh At The Expense Of Manchester United

Florent Malouda, the winner of the Champions League with Chelsea, played a joke with a fan of Manchester United in the Indian Super League during his time with Delhi Dynamos

He is not more with Chelsea. Yet, Malouda had been extremely loyal to the London club. He played for them from 2007-2013 and he won the UEFA Champions League for the club in the year 2012. In the Premier League, Malouda never represented any other team and brought it loyal to him even after leaving the club.

Olivier Giroud hoping to discuss new deal with Chelsea

France international Olivier Giroud has stressed that he is not looking for a move away from Chelsea amid the ongoing speculation regarding his future. The World Cup-winning striker has been touted for a move to Marseille in recent days but he has now rebuffed the claims by citing his ambition to prolong Blues stay.

Speaking to Standard Sport, Giroud highlighted that he is ‘happy’ to ply his trade for the FA Cup holders whom he joined from Arsenal last winter. He added to indicate that he has a year remaining on his deal and would be willing to discuss an extension with the Blues, he said: “No, I am happy here at Chelsea. I just arrived a few months ago and am just starting to settle well. I still have one year (of my contract) to go with Chelsea, plus maybe another one. I’m going to discuss that with the club at the right time. There is no rush.”

Thomas Partey pleased with Antoine Griezmann’s transfer decision

Ghana international Thomas Partey has admitted that he is pleased after Antoine Griezmann took the decision to stay put with Atletico Madrid. Florent Malouda Urges Eden Hazard To Stay Put With Chelsea

Former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has urged Eden Hazard to stay with Chelsea beyond the summer transfer window. The Belgian currently has a contract with the Blues until June 2020, but he has still been linked with a summer departure with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain said to be interested in his services.
